Well, my youngest daughter has her first day at school tomorrow..... we are all ready to go. Lunches are done, sitting in the fridge, bag is ready, clothes are set out. Now we just have to wake up and go. She tried the whole uniform on today to show her dad (as has to work tomorrow and will miss it) and we nearly cried! She looks very grown up. I have to say I think I will miss her a little! She has been by my side for the past 4 years - laughing, whingeing, fiddling with everything, whingeing, carrying on, stirring us all, whingeing..... yep I'll miss her..... a little! Might be nice to have time to myself as well. She seems ok about going - it helps that she has the same teacher that my eldest had so she knows the teacher and the room. Hoping this will help.....! Will post how she goes in a couple of days.

These are 2 LOs I have done kind of recently. The one of hubby and I was done to show one of the ways you can use ribbon on a LO. With this one, I wrapped it around a chipboard heart and let the rest of the ribbon go across the page. With "The Roos" LO, that is just one I have done for my album. We went to the Darling Downs Zoo a couple of weeks ago and I got heaps of really nice photos of the animals - and of course the girls. My favorites are the photos of us each holding a snake. Was'nt too bad doing that actually! Well, very hot and muggy here. Yesterday we managed to cool of at our friends son's pool party. Fun day spent in the pool, not something we do alot, but I did come home burnt! 2nd time in as many weeks! It hurts too! One day the cream will go on...

Mixed....
Well what a day. Gee whiz. Run around at the shops, off to work, then come home to bad news. My Granny was in an accident and has written her car off. I dont usually go on about what is happening in my little world, but god. I am just letting it out! So she is okay, not too badly injured which is great news. We do not want any more of this.
Also, I have been watching the tennis. Fantastic game tonight - Williams got knocked out of the open (YAY!!), but those bloody commentators. I can do with out them. Yes, I do appreciate that they know alot and have a lot of passion for the game, but if I want to know about someone or something I will google it thank you. They just put me off. And if I had a little radio beside me on the couch I would turn the TV volume down and listen to the radio. Send that Yank women comm. home get rid of Woodbridge and we'll be right.Thank you.
Ok I feel a little better now to get that off my chest. I will try to put up some LOs soon - after a slow month and no inspiration, I have finally got it back and have been on a roll. It helps when you have new photos to play with - very inspiring. And next week I will have some good ones to scrap - my youngest daughters first day day at school.... I dont know what I will do with myself - or do I?!!

RETREAT

In July I went to the Stick'n'Giggle retreat in Mt Tambourine. Was a little cold, but lots of fun. I actualy got a few LOs done, which was great for me as I have'nt done many lately. These photos are of me and Jolene - she was so nice, really lovely and I lovedddd the workshop I did with her. Very happy with the LO. I am not really a glitter and punch girl, but after having used them in her w/s I now own some. The other photo is of the two ladies I shared a room with. Jody did a great job of putting us togther - they are so nice and I had fun chatting with them till all hours of the night. So nice to meet Linda IRL and nice to meet Amanda too, they are local girls so I just might get to see them again.......
