Lindas Sketches

After finally getting on and looking at Linda's blog, I found she had done some of her own sketches and decided I would have a go! Linda, I found them a real challenge!! lol But I am happy with the final result, and am glad I got to scrap these 2 photos - they have been hanging around for a while now! Mothers Day gifts

These are 2 presents I made for Mothers Day. The red framed one is for my mum, and I have used the new Websters paper from work. The other one is for my mother in law, and I have used Sassafrass lass paper from a new shop called Stick'nGiggle. I had fun making these - am enjoying cutting out and layering and these papers are the best to do it with! I have also used lots of DM, I tend to go a bit overboard with this!

Present Swap

We had the present swap at last! I decoated a Kaiser Tag Box in the new Kaiser p/p, and inside it I put some handmade cards and tags, a notebook, a pen and some stamps. I recieved a beautiful crochet doily (? I think that is what it is) - and it is now on my dining table and I love it! Thank you!

Mothers Day

I have had a really nice Mothers Day today! I was woken up and handed lots of cute pressies from the girls. They were so excited to give them to me, as some of them they have had hidden in the house for a week and were nearly bursting for me to have them - very sweet! I got coasters, candle, perfume, egg holder and a piece of foam toast (thanks Del :) !), and a few other things. One of the best was the lovely Granny undies Mick chose for me - I dont think they will fit Mick! So funny. We went for a drive up to the bush with the dogs and then went to the park - so a nice, fun day. Thank you Mick, Charli and Adel xoxo

Fun at the show

The girls had so much fun at the show! We have'nt been for a couple of years, so I thought I might as well take them. They went on rides, had their face painted, got fairy floss, saw lots of animals, got a showbag - all the usual! Their favorite thing was meeting a robot that was walking around, he called them little pink things and they just loved him :) So a big day spent there, but worth it for the girls. After Mick got home I then headed to my friends house to start on my 2nd block of the month - that will hope fully be finished on Monday. I love it so much - thanks Sanchia for helping me get started! Today I almost finished my

Mothers Day swap present - that will be done tomorrow, and I will put up photos later in the week of the finished product! Sorry to do this, I seem to have lots on the go but no photos! But like I said I will do it..... just later!

Quick and simple

I made thank you cards to send to friends and family to thank them for the girls recent presents...... I have not yet sent them! I am terrible I know! But they will be on their way soon. They were quick and easy to make, very simple.

Fun and relaxing...

We spent Monday at Atkinsons Dam with friends. Mick took the girls in the canoe (or kayak? Dont even know!) - it was their first time and they had a ball! I spent the day sitting down and eating and watching, and I also took along my knitting. I am only just learning how to do that, and so instead of actually knitting I was unraveling it! I have since started again, and this time it is going well! I have also been busy making Mothers Day pressies but I wont put photos up just yet...... I'll do that next week!
