Tennis...

Well, I am sooo tired after staying up all night watching the tennis between Nadal and Verdasco! Just over five hours it went for, it was game for game the whole way. Bloody incredible - and worth it! But those commentators - god I could do with out all their talking - who knows the most stats etc. I dont care, I just want to watch the game that is happening now. Anyway, great game. Sadly my man, my new favorite lost - Verdasco. What a gorgeous man - I could watch him all day! But well done to Nadal - fantastic player, I do love to watch him play too - if only he could keep his fingers out of his butt - I have never seen a man (or lady) pull so many wedgies out. A bit off-putting!

First Day LO

My first school LO! Would you believe that I still have'nt scrapped my eldest daughters first day photos - and she is now in grade 2?! Poor thing, she'll feel so unloved! This LO was fun to do and I loved using all the pretty stuff. I am finding that scrapping etc is very relaxing at the moment - have lots of dramas going on, and this is great way to take my mind of things. I am taking more time creating LOs and using different techniques, even simple ones like just using glitter.

This morning I had a look at the new Melissa Francis products. Not real keen on them, I guess it is just more colorful than her other collections. But maybe they will look different IRL. I am really looking forward to the new MM range - can't wait to see them IRL - and use them!

Bird Card.

I made this card using Stampin Up! cardstock, ribbon and "love" word stamp, plus a cheap bird stamp I got from Target. Not sure who will get this one......!

A present...

I made this for my sisters upcoming birthday. It is a Kaiser tag holder box using Melissa Francis paper.

First day...

Well the first day went really well I suppose! We were there nice and early, as i had 2 girls to take in and help out. Adel went first - she sat down and drew so she was happy! I left then as I thought if I stayed longer then she might start to worry and get upset. Then I took my other girl to her room. She was a little worried, mainly about the teacher - it was one she dreaded having all year! But he seems nice enough - tries to be funny and he has lists and stuff everywhere, so we shall see how things go! They both came home happy so thats all that matters.

Boo Hoo!

Well, my youngest daughter has her first day at school tomorrow..... we are all ready to go. Lunches are done, sitting in the fridge, bag is ready, clothes are set out. Now we just have to wake up and go. She tried the whole uniform on today to show her dad (as has to work tomorrow and will miss it) and we nearly cried! She looks very grown up. I have to say I think I will miss her a little! She has been by my side for the past 4 years - laughing, whingeing, fiddling with everything, whingeing, carrying on, stirring us all, whingeing..... yep I'll miss her..... a little! Might be nice to have time to myself as well. She seems ok about going - it helps that she has the same teacher that my eldest had so she knows the teacher and the room. Hoping this will help.....! Will post how she goes in a couple of days.

These are 2 LOs I have done kind of recently. The one of hubby and I was done to show one of the ways you can use ribbon on a LO. With this one, I wrapped it around a chipboard heart and let the rest of the ribbon go across the page. With "The Roos" LO, that is just one I have done for my album. We went to the Darling Downs Zoo a couple of weeks ago and I got heaps of really nice photos of the animals - and of course the girls. My favorites are the photos of us each holding a snake. Was'nt too bad doing that actually! Well, very hot and muggy here. Yesterday we managed to cool of at our friends son's pool party. Fun day spent in the pool, not something we do alot, but I did come home burnt! 2nd time in as many weeks! It hurts too! One day the cream will go on...

Mixed....

Well what a day. Gee whiz. Run around at the shops, off to work, then come home to bad news. My Granny was in an accident and has written her car off. I dont usually go on about what is happening in my little world, but god. I am just letting it out! So she is okay, not too badly injured which is great news. We do not want any more of this.
Also, I have been watching the tennis. Fantastic game tonight - Williams got knocked out of the open (YAY!!), but those bloody commentators. I can do with out them. Yes, I do appreciate that they know alot and have a lot of passion for the game, but if I want to know about someone or something I will google it thank you. They just put me off. And if I had a little radio beside me on the couch I would turn the TV volume down and listen to the radio. Send that Yank women comm. home get rid of Woodbridge and we'll be right.Thank you.
Ok I feel a little better now to get that off my chest. I will try to put up some LOs soon - after a slow month and no inspiration, I have finally got it back and have been on a roll. It helps when you have new photos to play with - very inspiring. And next week I will have some good ones to scrap - my youngest daughters first day day at school.... I dont know what I will do with myself - or do I?!!

Happy Days card - made with no one in mind really! Just hoping to get some done ready to send when a birthday comes up (no excuses for a late card from me!) Also would like to make enough to give card packs as gifts. Here's hoping I can find the time!

Gee! I did'nt realise just how long ago my last post was! But thanks to a friend, I am back updating it! I have been making cards using Stampin Up! products and here are some I have done this week. I am still scrapping and will put some new LOs up later - but now I will go and watch the tennis!
